FCS Russia head Valery Pikalyov visited four Pskov customs stationary checkpoints: Klinovoye, Stayki, Nevelsky and Drozdy.
He met mobile group officers and checked their readiness to operate under SPOT.
Pikalyov said the Belarus border posts were prepared, staff knew the procedures, equipment was in place and data exchange with the tax service worked.
The system is intended to curb tax evasion on imports without extra barriers for compliant business.
