FCS Russia said that Head of the service Valery Pikalyov took part in the official visit of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the People’s Republic of China. On the margins of the summit, he and Sun Meizhun, head of the General Administration of Customs of China, signed a memorandum on cooperation in education and training in customs affairs.
The memorandum is intended to strengthen cooperation between the customs authorities in staff training and support professional development in both countries.
Ahead of the visit, the Russian President noted an agreement with the Chairman of China to hold Russian–Chinese Years of cooperation in education in 2026 and 2027.
