Valery Pikalev reviews implementation of Presidential Decree No. 261 in Samara customs region

The FCS Russia press office reports in an official release. The headline reads: “Valery Pikalev reviewed implementation of Presidential Decree No. 261 in the Samara customs region”.

FCS Russia head Valery Pikalev, together with deputy head Agopsim Ashkalov and Volga customs chief Viktor Nikulin, inspected mobile teams conducting selective vehicle checks near the Mashtakovo checkpoint. The visit focused on detecting unlawfully imported goods and progress on Presidential Decree No. 261 of 20 April 2026.

Since the start of the year, Samara customs mobile groups have checked 49,000 tonnes of cargo and found violations in 406 vehicles.

Pikalev visited Mashtakovo on the border with Kazakhstan and noted that queues were absent and border crossing proceeded normally.

The delegation also reviewed readiness for the national shipment placement confirmation system (SPOT), including facilities at the checkpoint.
