During the tour they viewed an exhibition dedicated to the feat of soldiers of General I.V. Panfilov’s division. It includes archive documents, personal belongings, front-line photographs and materials on the defence of Moscow during the war.
CAT head Alexander Shvedov said the Panfilov heroes’ feat “sets a high standard of service to the Fatherland”, and that it is the duty of today’s generation to remember their sacrifice and prove daily that it was not in vain.
At the end of the visit the customs officers laid flowers at the Heroes of the Panfilov Division memorial complex in tribute to the defenders of the Fatherland.
