At Luhansk customs, deputies reported on progress across key areas. Training future specialists was a major topic: customs-focused classes now run in two Luhansk schools, and universities are involved in career guidance.
Pikalev called comprehensive efforts — from building and restoring facilities to staff development — a top priority. He thanked officers for their service and said Luhansk customs has become a full part of Russia’s nationwide customs system.
The Donetsk customs session covered staffing, integrating officials from Donetsk and Luhansk customs into day-to-day work, and monitoring repair and restoration of customs infrastructure.
After progress reports from both customs offices, Pikalev urged continued remote placements of staff at other SCD units so they can gain practical experience.
In closing remarks he noted positive trends at Donetsk and Luhansk customs given regional conditions and called for continued comprehensive support for customs personnel taking part in the special military operation and their families.
