In a message published by the FCS Russia press office, Service head Valery Pikalev congratulated colleagues on Defender of the Fatherland Day — a holiday that, in his words, «embodies true courage» and love for the homeland.
The address pays tribute to those who defended the country in difficult periods of history and who continue to uphold Russia’s security, sovereignty and independence. Veterans who defeated Nazism are thanked separately.
Pikalev noted customs officers carrying out tasks in the area of the special military operation and thanked all customs staff for professionalism and their contribution to the state’s economic security.
The FCS Russia head wished colleagues and their families health, wellbeing, peace and further achievements for the benefit of the homeland.
