Customs transferred confiscated goods worth RUB 3.5 billion for SMO needs in 2025

According to an FCS Russia press release, in 2025 customs transferred more than 2,200 consignments of confiscated goods worth over RUB 3.5 billion to the Ministry of Defence and for special military operation needs.

The shipments were mainly passenger cars and spare parts, electronics, household appliances, building materials, medical devices and tools, furniture, industrial and server equipment, unmanned aircraft and components, and light-industry goods.

Social protection bodies, medical and educational institutions and the All-Russia People’s Front “For Russia” received goods worth RUB 107.5 million — toys, clothing, footwear, food, tableware, detergents, shoe covers, consumer electronics and other items.

In total, courts ordered 13,292 cases in 2025 transferring goods worth RUB 8.2 billion into federal ownership; they were sent to Rosimushchestvo, Rosalkogoltabakkontrol, the Federal Bailiff Service, Gokhran, the Federal Treasury, Rosgvardiya and the Ministry of Culture.
