Head of the Central Excise Customs Alexander Shvedov has issued a New Year message to colleagues, thanking staff for their work during a demanding year and wishing them health and professional success in 2026. Source: Central Excise Customs (CAT).
In his address, Mr Shvedov said the outgoing year had been a period of intensive and responsible work for the customs office. Tasks were carried out under heavy workloads and constant change, and thanks to officers’ professionalism, teamwork and sense of duty the service met every challenge. He stressed that the results achieved reflect the contribution of every official, unit and customs post.
The head expressed gratitude to all officials, employees and veterans of the customs authorities for conscientious service and a high level of responsibility. He paid special tribute to customs officers currently carrying out duties in the special military operation area, noting their courage and patriotism.
Ahead of the New Year he wished colleagues and their families good health, wellbeing, confidence in the future and further professional achievements, expressing hope that 2026 would bring stability, successful implementation of plans and satisfaction from work accomplished.
