Under phase two of the customs service development strategy to 2030, the agency is building a new digital ecosystem for customs authorities — EAIS TO 2.0.
Over the past year, headquarters staff and IT specialists visited regional customs offices and met inspectors and businesses to discuss operational issues and expectations on both sides.
FCS Russia head Valery Pikalyov said “large-scale work” is under way to shape a unified digital platform focused on efficiency, security and transparency; results of the first phase will be consolidated and analysed.
Proposals will be prioritised and discussed again. Focus groups of customs officers and foreign-trade participants will then refine technical solutions; software modules are to be tested with experts.
