FCS Russia head Valery Pikalyov chaired the session, joined by Union State Secretary Sergei Glazyev and Belarus State Customs Committee head Vladimir Orlovsky.
Pikalyov described the committee’s platform as “one of the most constructive” forums in Union cooperation, based on mutual respect and equality.
Participants reviewed the year’s results, noting progress on the 2024–2026 Union State treaty implementation lines within customs competence. Five resolutions were adopted on risk management, information exchange, declaration and customs control.
Work of the Interstate Information Centre drew particular attention: shared Union risk profiles are being formed to harmonise bilateral customs interaction.
The centre’s 2026 work plan was approved and three documents signed, including a draft resolution on IT links between FCS Russia, Belarus customs and the centre and on electronic copies of goods and transit declarations version 3.0.
