An Astrakhan customs mobile team found more than 800 motorcycles, quad bikes and construction tools without documents in a vehicle arriving from Kazakhstan.
The truck was stopped in Volgograd Region with 68 motorcycles, 32 ATVs, 290 angle grinders showing signs of counterfeiting, 395 chainsaws and 36 pruning sets on board — about 20 tonnes worth over RUB 11 million.
The cargo was seized. Administrative cases were opened under Articles 16.21 and 14.10 of the Code of Administrative Offences. Verification continues.
