Over 7.5 tonnes of toys without papers found in truck from Kyrgyzstan

An FCS Russia notice reports that Astrakhan customs found “more than 7.5 tonnes of children’s toys without documents” in a truck from Kyrgyzstan.

The cargo included electric toy cars, puzzles, dolls, play sets, strollers and other goods. A mobile team stopped the vehicle as part of efforts against grey imports.

Review of shipping papers showed signs of false declaration. The truck was sent to a permanent customs control zone for inspection; results will determine whether an administrative case is opened.
