An FCS Russia release says Samara customs “identified 3,000 illegal electronic devices” during checks of shops and marketplaces.
Twenty-seven inspections on the domestic market in Samara and Orenburg regions removed about 3,000 items worth over RUB 80 million from illegal trade — phones, accessories, tablets, e-scooters and power tools.
Officers found 14 illegal sales points in Samara region, five in Ulyanovsk and eight in Orenburg. No customs declaration records existed in official databases.
Businesses may file a declaration for illegally imported goods within one month of a control decision. Some have already done so: 20 declarations were filed and more than RUB 22 million was paid to the federal budget.
